Go green is Recycle, Reduce and Reuse
I love to recycle. any waste item i find, my first thought will be how to turn it into something useful.I keep collecting all empty containers, waste materials and turn them into some craft items.
Fertile Manure from your kitchen
I learned and adopted this from my mom in law and the sole credit goes to her. All the vegetable waste , tea waste ,egg shells in short any degradable stuff from kitchen waste i keep collecting in a bucket in my back yard and periodically dig few holes in garden and dispose them and cover it up with mud. these veggie waste are source of gr8 manure for plants.
Any one can do this at their place, its just matter of two extra minutes to dispose these vegetable waste into another container rather than using your normal garbage. please take care that you don’t keep accumulating for more than one week as it will start stinking. Also make sure that you dont pour waste along with water, it might decay soon but will be stinky.
Even the fish waste , sometimes ( i don’t collect them i do it immediately after cleaning ) if i have the time i just dig a hole dispose them there and close it and put some thorny stems over it so that cats wont dig them out.
